Empower Addiction Professionals with Higher Education!
We are in the midst of an unprecedented opioid crisis in our country. Now more than ever, substance abuse counselors need quality education and training.
The CAADE vision is to be a leader in state and national collaborative efforts to improve treatment outcomes for those afflicted with substance use disorders by educating certified counselors to deliver high quality treatment services. We accomplish our mission through accrediting Chancellor-approved Addiction Studies Programs in over 40 California Community Colleges.
CAADE hosts an annual conference attended by 500 individuals, including college students, educators, certified counselors, and other addiction treatment professionals.
With your tax-deductible donation, you are helping CAADE to advocate for higher standards in education and training for addiction professionals.
Your support would go to:
- Full scholarships for student registrations to annual CAADE conferences
- Professional development workshops such as Continuing Education trainings
- Exam preparation workshops
- Advocacy efforts for mentorship programs, job placement assistance and other community services to advance the addiction profession and improve overall public health.
